The National Association of Music Merchants or NAMM is a foundation that supports and builds communities for music education. The NAMM Show is an annual event that has been described as “the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products industry” by its organizers. Held every January in Anaheim, California, NAMM is one of the two largest music product trade shows in the world.
Musicians and merchants are offered an opportunity to experience first-hand the latest in music technology, instruments and latest trends. Popular music artists frequently make appearances to meet and greet the members and their guests as well as share their knowledge, music and experiences. Live music, workshops, Q&A, product demonstrations and music education fill the convention center for four days. NAMM is designed to inspire the various members within the music industry including music retailers, manufacturers and even the artists themselves.
